Bridging the Gap

The final term for GCE has come, spring term, the final quarter. Learning all about trigonometry such as the law of sines, cosines, and even going in depth about architecture and city design, that's only the first unit of my math and science class Urban Planning. The Action Project was to design a bridge that would hold at least 10 pounds using nothing but 50 popsicle sticks and of course Elmer's common glue (although everybody borrowed generous NVA's superglue that wasn't abused, but assisted with the initial sticking of joints, remember, it's still just popsicle sticks) . Paired up with partners, there were actually few challenges with me and diligent worker MF and she most likely shares the pride of having the lightest bridge that held 10 pounds as well as supporting the most weight, well over 30 entire pounds, with nothing but popsicle sticks as our material.
